Brothers and Sisters, Believers in JESUS CHRIST
The Sermon/Lesson this GOD's Day (Sunday) March 02,2003,
is "The Healing of the Man at Bethesda."(See John Ch 5)
The Lesson (the reason that CHRIST Performed the Divine Miracle) emphasizes
the reason CHRIST Performed "Cleansing The Leper."
Most nonbelievers do not comprehend the Lesson, or reason, or
"moral of the story". What they do not comprehend or recognize,
'at first glance' is 'questionable'.
In CHRIST's Eighth Divine Miracle. Where is, or of what significance is
Bethesda? Not recognizable at first glance; therefore 'non believable',
'questionable'.
The clear, concise explanation is:
There was a cyclic pool of water, outside a gate of Jerusalem.
As the pool refilled, the 'unwanted' would rush into the pool.
Because they believed: 'The first into the pool', would be cleansed & cured.
(!? In my opinion, the first, may not have had anything wrong with himself;
And that is why he was able to beat the lame into the pool.)
For years, a seriously lame Man had tried to be first into the pool;
while, cyclically, the water swirls up into the pool.
When Jesus saw him lying on his pallet, and Knowing he had been in this
state a long time; Jesus said to the Man:
"Do you want to get well?"
(Now Believer's already comprehend/realize, both Theologically and Spiritually,
what CHRIST's Lesson will be!)
The sick Man answered, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when
the water is stirred; for while I try to be first, another enters before me."
Christ Commanded the lame Man:
" Rise, take up your pallet and walk."
Now the day was the 'sabbath' and no healings nor much movement nor any work was
'allowed' according to 'Jewish Law'.
And the scribes and pharisees not only were jealous of JESUS CHRIST; but
they conspired for a way to kill Him.
Especially when JESUS entered the temple, found the cleansed/cured Man,
And told him:
" Behold, you are cured. Sin no more, or something worse may befall you."
I have Preached: "A word to the wise is sufficient".
The Wise, the BELIEVERS, know what JESUS CHRIST means!
'You are Cleansed, Cured, Saved!' "Sin no more, lest something worse
(you suffer the loss of your Eternal Soul) befall you."
Notice, that in the "New Testament", John, Chapter 5, Verse 18.
"This, then is why the Jews were the more anxious to put Him to death;
because He not only 'broke' their sabbath, He called GOD His Father!
Proclaiming Himself the Divine Son of GOD !
CHRIST, in the temple told them:
"My Father (in Heaven) works even until now, and (therefore) I Work."
Therefore, directly, JESUS CHRIST IS PROVING:
ALL are Welcomed! ALL Believers can be SAVED!
ALL can obtain Eternal Life with GOD in Paradise!
Jesus states: (John 12:32) "I will draw all Men (all Persons) unto Me." (to our True GODMAN)
Only hard-headed spiritual fools would doubt ! (and all of them so briefly !)
Ever hear of the World famous "Bethesda (Naval) Hospital" ?
Oh Yes! That is remembered/recognized! Sure, I believe that fact.
BETTER BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST, AT THE BETHESDA 'HEALTH SPA', BY DIVINE POWER
FROM GOD, *PROVED* THERE IS THIS DIVINE GOD ! AND GOD WHO WANTS -- YOU,
AND YOU, AND ESPECIALLY YOU ! -- TO SAVE YOUR SOUL !
